Rescue Efforts End After 21 Die in Gaza Building Collapse

A damaged building in Gaza fell down, trapping many people inside.

Rescue workers searched through the rubble for survivors.

They found and saved 45 people.

Twenty-one people died, including eight children.

Many of the people had been living there because they had nowhere else to go.

The building had already been damaged by bombing.

Workers began clearing the rubble so survivors could live in tents.

Officials said Gaza does not have enough heavy equipment for rescues and rebuilding.

Palestinian and United Nations officials blame restrictions on equipment, while Israel says the restrictions are meant to stop militants from obtaining it.
