Maharashtra Boosts Art Education Access with 'School Connect'
The government of Maharashtra is starting a program called 'school connect' to tell students in schools about opportunities to study art.
They want more people to know about art education and to join art courses.
They are also giving more money to winners of art competitions and making places for artists to show their work in different districts.
The director of art education, Dr Kishor Ingle, wants to reach students in rural areas too, like Gadchiroli and Nandurbar.
