Woman Blames Police, Moneylender for Husband's Suicide
A woman named Sowjanya and villagers protested outside a police office.
They said her husband, Mahendra Naik, took loans from a moneylender named Sudhakar Naik.
The moneylender allegedly threatened him, and the police did not help.
Unable to handle the pressure, Mahendra Naik died by suicide.
The protesters want the police to take action against the moneylender and the police officers who did not help.
Sowjanya and villagers protested outside Kadapa DSP office alleging harassment by a moneylender and police inaction led to her husband's suicide.
Mahendra Naik, a resident of JGS Thanda, took loans from private lenders and was allegedly harassed to repay the dues.
Sowjanya accused moneylender Sudhakar Naik of threatening her husband and alleged police failed to act on complaints.
