Baguiati Club Brings Durga Puja ‘Collage’ to Life

Baguiati Rail Pukur United Club is preparing a special Durga Puja celebration.

The theme is called “Collage.”

A collage is made by joining many different pieces together.

The pavilion uses thousands of kilos of old newspapers.

The idea connects to stories about different gods joining their powers to create Goddess Durga.

It also celebrates important figures from Bengal and India.

Newspaper scenes show how people once received news on paper.

The installation also suggests that digital media has changed how people read and share news.
