Rain Threatens India-Sri Lanka Second Test in Colombo
India and Sri Lanka are playing their second and final Test cricket match.
India already won the first match by 165 runs.
The next match will be played in Colombo from August 23 to August 27.
Rain is possible on every day of the match.
This could cause pauses and delays in play.
However, the forecast does not necessarily mean that whole days will be washed out.
Sri Lanka must win to draw the series, while India can settle for a draw and still win the series.
The hot and humid conditions may also make the match tiring for the players.
India lead Sri Lanka 1-0 after a 165-run victory in Galle.
The second and final Test begins August 23 at Colombo’s Sinhalese Sports Club.
Rain chances range from 50% to 60% on each of the five days.
Scattered showers and afternoon thunderstorms may cause delays rather than complete washouts.
Sri Lanka need a win to level the series, while India can retain the series with a draw.
