Mizoram Home Minister Launches Mobile Forensic Vehicles
The Mizoram Home Minister launched 10 special vans filled with tools to help solve crimes.
These vans are like mobile labs, helping investigators collect evidence at crime scenes.
The central government gave the money for these vehicles, which cost almost 5 crore rupees.
The new criminal law, BNSS 2023, makes it even more important to use science in investigations.
The new law means that experts must check the evidence in cases where someone could go to jail for more than 7 years.
Mizoram is also using new technology to make crime investigations better, like paperless systems.
Mizoram launched 10 mobile forensic vehicles to enhance crime investigation.
The vehicles are equipped with forensic tools and equipment.
The vehicles were sanctioned by the Centre at a cost of Rs. 4.8 crore.
