Woman Allegedly Drugged, Raped in Bhopal; Suspect Held
A 22-year-old woman told police that she was attacked in an unfinished building in Bhopal.
She said a man she knew offered her a cold drink.
She began feeling intoxicated after drinking it, according to her complaint.
She said the man then assaulted her when she resisted.
The woman escaped and ran toward the road.
People nearby heard her screams and called the police.

A 22-year-old woman allegedly was drugged, assaulted and raped inside an under-construction building in Bhopal’s Kolar area.
Police said the alleged incident occurred on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday.
Residents reportedly heard screams, found the woman partially clothed and alerted police through a First Response Vehicle.
The woman told police that Satyendra Dhurve offered her a cold drink after which she felt intoxicated and was assaulted when she resisted.
Kolar police registered an FIR, arrested Dhurve and said further investigation was underway.
