India's Engineering Exports Surge in November 2025
India's engineering exports crossed $11 billion in November 2025, which is a big increase of 23.76% compared to the same month last year.
This growth happened because more engineering goods were sent to the US and the EU.
The US was the top destination, followed by the UAE and Germany.
However, exports to the UAE and Saudi Arabia decreased.
The share of engineering exports in India's total merchandise exports was 28.9% in November 2025.
From April to November 2025, engineering exports were 4.25% higher than the previous year, totaling $79.74 billion.
India's overall exports are expected to reach $850 billion in 2025-26, with goods exports likely to stay flat and services exports exceeding $400 billion.
However, India faces challenges from US tariffs and the EU's new carbon tax, which may affect its export growth.
To overcome these challenges, India needs to focus on improving product quality and moving up the value chain in sectors like electronics, engineering, and textiles.
Engineering exports from India crossed $11 billion in November 2025, marking a 23.76% year-on-year increase.
The growth was driven by increased exports to the US and EU, as well as a low-base effect.
The US remained the top destination for Indian engineering exports, followed by the UAE and Germany.
Exports to the UAE and Saudi Arabia declined year-on-year in November 2025.
The share of engineering exports in India's total merchandise exports was 28.9% in November 2025, up from 27.3% in the April-November 2025 period.
