ICC Corrects Rankings, Boosts Kohli's ODI Legacy
Virat Kohli is a famous cricket player from India.
The ICC, which is like the boss of international cricket, made a mistake in his rankings.
They said he was the best batter for only 825 days, but they fixed it and said he was actually the best for 1547 days.
This makes him one of the best in history, along with players like Vivian Richards and Brian Lara.
Kohli is really good at both ODIs and T20s.
He has been the best batter for a long time in both formats.
He might even break more records if he keeps playing well.
But to beat the biggest records, he needs to play a lot more and score a lot of runs, which will be very hard.
ICC corrected Virat Kohli's ODI ranking days from 825 to 1547.
Kohli now holds the record for most days at number one among Indian batters in ODIs.
He joins Vivian Richards (2306 days) and Brian Lara (2079 days) in elite company.
Kohli has spent 2567 days as the number one batter in white-ball cricket.
He needs 532 more days to surpass Lara and 3753 runs to surpass Tendulkar's records.
