Tirupati: Greater Corporation Plan Approved with 63 Villages
The Tirupati Municipal Corporation Council has approved a new plan to create a larger corporation by merging 63 village panchayats.
This will make the city bigger, with more people living there, and bring in more money each year.
The new boundaries will extend in different directions, reaching up to certain landmarks and rivers.

Initial list of 63 villages was reduced to 53 after errors were identified and corrected
10 more villages were added, bringing the total back to 63
The expanded corporation will cover 300.40 sq km and accommodate nearly 7.86 lakh people
Projected annual revenue is estimated at Rs 192.20 crore
