NIA Charges Five in Gujarat AQIS Radicalisation Case

NIA Charges Five in Gujarat AQIS Radicalisation Case

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed charges against five people for spreading extremist ideas online.

These people were part of a group linked to a terrorist organization called AQIS.

They used social media to share videos, audio clips, and posts that encouraged violence and rebellion against the Indian government.

They also promoted the idea of a Caliphate based on Sharia law.

The NIA found weapons and digital evidence linking them to these activities.

One of the accused, Mohammad Faique, played a big role in sharing radical content.

Another accused, Shama Parveen, was in contact with a Pakistani national and shared banned literature.

The NIA took over the case from the Gujarat ATS and found strong evidence against all five accused.
