BJP leader hits back at Gangula over Kisan Nagar row
Two political groups in India, the BJP and the BRS, had a big disagreement.
A BJP leader named Yadagiri Sunil Rao spoke to reporters in the city of Karimnagar.
He said people should not blame his political party for an incident in a neighborhood called Kisan Nagar.
He believes the incident started from a personal argument between people.
He said it is not right for politicians to use such incidents to gain power.
He asked another leader, Gangula Kamalakar, to act responsibly.
He remembered a time when someone from his own party was in a similar problem, and his party did not blame others.
He said his party does not encourage violence.
He also said the city government has been working on development for five months.
BJP state spokesperson and Karimnagar Municipal Corporation Deputy Mayor Yadagiri Sunil Rao criticized BRS MLA Gangula Kamalakar for allegedly politicizing the Kisan Nagar incident.
Rao said the incident arose from a personal dispute and that political parties should not be blamed for such incidents.
He objected to attempts to link Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar with the matter.
He recalled a previous incident involving BJP corporator Somidi Venu that the BJP treated as a personal dispute without blaming BRS leaders.
Rao urged Gangula, a four-time MLA, to act responsibly and said the municipal administration, five months in office, was focused on development.
