Kshitij Kaul Leads Rain-Hit Coal India Open at Tollygunge

The Coal India Open is a golf tournament being played at Tollygunge Club in Kolkata, India.

In golf, players try to hit a small ball into 18 holes with as few shots as possible.

A 25-year-old golfer from Delhi named Kshitij Kaul is currently doing the best.

He finished his second round with a score 10 shots better than the course's expected score, which is excellent.

He made five holes in fewer shots than usual and only one hole in extra shots.

Heavy rain then started falling and the organisers had to stop the round.

Almost half of the 132 players had not finished their second round yet.

The players will return on Thursday morning at 7am to finish.

Akshay Sharma is just one shot behind Kaul, and two other golfers are tied two shots behind.

The tournament will cut some players after this round, and the cutoff score is currently one-over par.
