Hyderabad's First Disabled Walkathon Promotes Rehabilitation
HCAH SuVitas organized a special walk called DISHA Walkathon in Hyderabad on World Disability Day.
This was the first walk of its kind focused on helping people with disabilities.
Fifty people with disabilities and fifty volunteers participated.
They showed that with the right help, people can recover and move better.
Doctors and experts also showed special robots that help people walk again.
They want everyone to know that disabilities don't have to be permanent if people get the right help early.
They plan to do more events like this in other cities to spread this important message.
HCAH SuVitas organized Hyderabad's first rehabilitation-focused Disabled Walkathon on World Disability Day at Sanjeevaiah Park.
The walkathon involved 50 differently-abled participants and 50 volunteers, demonstrating real mobility and recovery outcomes.
Specialists showcased robotic mobility systems like the Gaiter, highlighting their role in faster and safer rehabilitation.
Experts emphasized that permanent disability is often preventable with early, structured rehabilitation and robotics-supported therapy.
HCAH SuVitas plans to organize more rehabilitation-focused awareness activities across major Indian cities.
