Godavari Pushkaralu 2027: Ghats to Be Extended to 4.7 km
Imagine a big religious festival where lots of people take a holy bath in the Godavari River.
The government is getting ready for this big event in 2027!
They plan to make the bathing areas, called ghats, much longer so more people can take a bath.
They're expecting a huge crowd, about six crore people!
To make sure everyone is safe and happy, they are working on things like roads, places to stay, food, and medical help.
They will also have special roads to make sure there is no traffic congestion.
There will be extra spaces for cars, buses to take people to the ghats, and special arrangements for important people and those who need extra help.
The East Godavari District Collector is coordinating preparations for the Godavari Pushkaralu in 2027.
Plans include extending the length of bathing ghats to 4.7 km.
Around six crore devotees are expected to attend the event.
Officials are focusing on infrastructure, amenities, and crowd management.
Roads will be widened, and alternative routes created to reduce congestion.
