Delhi University V-C Takes AICTE Chair
Prof. Yogesh Singh, who is the Vice Chancellor of Delhi University, has been given the extra job of being the Chairman of AICTE.
This happened because the previous Chairman, Prof. T. G. Sitharam, finished his job on 20.12.2025.
The Ministry of Education made this decision.
Prof. Yogesh Singh will do this job until a new permanent Chairman is appointed or until further orders, whichever comes first.
Prof. Yogesh Singh, Vice Chancellor of University of Delhi, appointed as AICTE Chairman.
Prof. T. G. Sitharam relieved from AICTE Chairman duties on 20.12.2025.
Appointment follows Order No. 1-11/2021-TS-II dated 17.11.2022 from Ministry of Education.
Prof. Yogesh Singh to hold additional charge until a regular Chairman is appointed or further orders.
Decision made in pursuance of the completion of Prof. T. G. Sitharam's tenure.
