Bhopal Metro Cancels 4 Morning Trips
The Bhopal Metro in India has decided to cancel four of its morning train trips because not many people were using them.
Instead of running 17 trips every day, they will now run only 13.
The first train will now leave at noon instead of in the morning.
The metro company studied how many people were using the trains and found that only about 25 to 30 people were using the morning trains each hour.
So, they decided to stop those trips to save money and resources.
The evening trips will still run, with the last train leaving at 7:30 PM from one station and 6:55 PM from the other.
Bhopal Metro cancels 4 morning trips due to low ridership, reducing daily trips from 17 to 13.
First train from AIIMS now departs at 12:00 PM, with last train at 7:30 PM.
Morning ridership was only 25-30 passengers per hour, prompting the change.
Evening ridership remains higher, with an additional evening trip added.
Revised timetable effective from January 5, with trains running every 75 minutes.
