Contemporary Now Expands Chennai’s Art Collector Community
Contemporary Now is an art event in Chennai.
Its second edition is trying to bring more people into the art-collecting community.
Photography was an important part of the event.
There was a discussion about photobooks.
There was also a photography exhibition.
Brendan Embser from Aperture said this could help more people become interested in photography.
The event is free to attend.
Its exhibitions stay open for nearly three weeks, giving visitors more time to see them.
The second edition of Contemporary Now is helping build a new art collector base in Chennai.
Photography was integrated into the event through a photobook discussion and an exhibition.
