The BRS held a meeting about Backward Classes in Peddapalli on Saturday.
Former MLA Dasari Manohar Reddy led the meeting.
Some people said that local BC leaders had not been invited or consulted.
This led to an argument between groups of party workers.
Reports say the argument became a scuffle, and chairs were thrown.
Police came and stopped the confrontation.
Some BC leaders said decisions were being made without enough consultation.
They warned that this could push supporters away and hurt the party locally.
