AAP and CDC Disagree on COVID-19 Vaccine Advice

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the CDC usually agree on vaccine advice, but now they have different COVID-19 shot recommendations for young kids.

The AAP says kids aged 6 months to 2 years should get the shots.

The CDC, however, says healthy kids can get shots if their doctor thinks it is a good idea.

This change is happening because the people giving advice about vaccines to the government have been updated.

Because of these changes, it might be harder to know what the best thing to do is.
