Bihar Bungalow Row: RJD Questions JDU Leaders
In Bihar, there's a big argument about who gets to live in government houses.
The government told Rabri Devi, a leader from the RJD party, to move out of her official house.
But then, the RJD said that leaders from the JDU party are also living in government houses they shouldn't be.
The RJD wrote a letter asking why these JDU leaders get to keep their houses even though they have other places to live.
They also asked if these leaders are paying extra money for staying longer.
The RJD wants the government to explain the rules and make sure everyone follows them fairly.
Rabri Devi, Leader of Opposition in Bihar Legislative Council, ordered to vacate government bungalow at 10 Circular Road, Patna.
RJD accuses JDU leaders Sanjay Jha and Devesh Chandra Thakur of illegally occupying government bungalows in Bihar despite having official residences in Delhi.
RJD questions why JDU leaders continue to occupy Bihar residences and whether they are paying ten times the prescribed rent.
RJD also raises concerns about Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi's residence and his daughter-in-law's occupancy of a government bungalow.
RJD demands clarification from the Building Construction Department on the rules governing bungalow occupation and rent recovery.
