Seismic Study Launched for Kumbh Mela 2027 Safety
The Nashik-Trimbakeshwar Kumbh Mela Authority (NTKMA) and the Geological Survey of India (GSI) are working together to make sure the Kumbh Mela in 2027 is safe.
They are going to set up five special machines in Trimbakeshwar to study the ground and check for any dangerous shaking or landslides.
This study will last for three months and will help them plan better for the big event.
They will also look at places where landslides might happen and suggest ways to make them safer.
To make things easier, they have set up a single point of contact for all their communication.
This way, they can work together more smoothly and make sure everything is ready for the Kumbh Mela.
NTKMA and GSI to conduct a three-month seismic study in Trimbakeshwar ahead of Kumbh Mela 2027.
Five seismic monitoring stations to be installed for data collection.
Fresh survey of landslide-prone areas to begin in August.
Single nodal communication mechanism established for better coordination.
Study aims to strengthen disaster preparedness and ensure safety for pilgrims and residents.
