Nepal Earthquake Strikes Hours After Deadly Border Floods

A strong earthquake happened in Nepal after deadly floods had already struck the area.

The earthquake measured 5.2 in magnitude and hit the Rasuwa region.

The floods killed at least 157 people.

Many others were still missing, including tourists and Indian pilgrims.

The floods came through the Bhote Koshi River after water crossed from Tibet.

Reports said an earlier, smaller tremor may have helped trigger the flooding.

Rescue workers are looking through mud for survivors and victims.

Nepal’s government is using its resources to help people and move families to safer places.
