Global Scholars Discuss Bhagavad Gita's Universal Relevance in Udupi
Imagine a very old book with important advice, like a special storybook.
Some smart people from different parts of the world came to a place called Udupi to talk about this book, called the Bhagavad Gita.
One smart person, who studies religion at Harvard, said that reading this book helps him be a better person in his own religion, Christianity.
He thinks we should think deeply about the book's lessons, not just read it like a regular story.
Another smart person, who studies Jewish and Hindu ideas, said that some of the book's ideas are like ideas in Judaism.
He also said that the book teaches us that how we act and what we are responsible for is very important for living a good spiritual life.
They both thanked the people who organized the meeting for letting them share their thoughts.
