Meghalaya Announces New Policy for Tourist Vehicle Rentals

Meghalaya's government is creating a new rule for renting out vehicles to tourists.

Right now, there's no way to keep track of or ensure the safety of tourists using rental vehicles.

The new plan requires anyone renting vehicles to register with the Transport Department.

This is meant to make sure everyone is safe and that things are done correctly.
