LIC Launches Jeevan Utsav Plan, Revives Lapsed Policies
LIC, a big insurance company in India, is starting a new insurance plan called LIC Jeevan Utsav Single Premium.
You pay one time and get insurance for your whole life.
They are also running a special campaign to help people who stopped paying for their old insurance policies.
If you have a policy that stopped because you couldn't pay, you can start it again with some discounts on late fees.
This campaign is to help people who had trouble paying because of bad situations.
It's a way to keep your insurance and the benefits you earned.
LIC launches the Jeevan Utsav Single Premium plan on January 12, 2026, offering whole life coverage with a one-time premium payment.
The plan is a non-linked, non-par, individual savings plan, combining long-term protection with savings benefits.
LIC introduces a campaign from January 1, 2026, to March 2, 2026, to revive lapsed non-linked and micro insurance policies.
Policyholders can get up to a 30% discount on late fees, capped at Rs 5,000, for eligible policies.
