Pune Implements Speed Control Measures on Navale Bridge Following Fatal Accidents

There's a bridge in Pune called Navale Bridge where many car accidents happen, sometimes very bad ones that hurt or kill people.

This is because cars, especially big trucks, go too fast down a steep hill.

So, the city leaders have decided to make the road safer.

They will put bumps called rumble strips every so often to slow down cars.

They are also putting in cameras to catch speeders and lowering the speed limit from 60 to 40 kilometers per hour.

They will also put up signs to help drivers and will fine people who park their vehicles in the wrong places.

They are also working on building new side roads to help with traffic.

The goal is to stop people from getting hurt or killed on this dangerous bridge.
