Chandigarh University Launches Jai Jawan Scholarship
Chandigarh University started a special scholarship called ‘CU Online Jai Jawan Scholarship’ to help the children of soldiers and defense personnel.
This scholarship gives money to help them study online courses like business, computers, and more.
The university did this to make sure that no child of a soldier misses out on education because of money problems.
They also had a big event with important army officers and showed some cool army weapons to students.
The scholarship is for kids of soldiers who are working, retired, or have died while serving.
To get the scholarship, you need to show proof that your parent is in the defense forces and apply on the university’s website.
Chandigarh University launched the ‘CU Online Jai Jawan Scholarship’ for family members of defense personnel on January 17 as part of the 78th Army Day celebrations.
The scholarship covers 12 online degree programs and is open to children of serving, retired, and martyred soldiers of Indian Defense and Paramilitary forces.
