Bangkok Reopens After Severe Flooding, But Travel Disruptions Remain

Bangkok had a lot of rain in a short time, and some parts of the city flooded.

Many people were affected, and some had to leave their homes for shelters.

Water levels are starting to go down, and many popular places in central Bangkok are open.

Some areas farther east are still harder to reach.

The two main airports are open, but flights and luggage handling may be delayed.

Trains are running normally, while cars and taxis may get stuck in flooded roads.

The weather service expects less rain for now, though more storms could come.

Visitors should check with their hotel, keep important items in their carry-on bag, and stay out of standing water.
