BJP Leader Criticizes Phone-Tapping Investigation in Telangana
A BJP leader in India named Bandi Sanjay Kumar is criticizing an investigation into phone-tapping by the BRS party leaders, KCR and KTR.
He says the investigation is taking too long and that the BRS leaders are being accused of tapping phones and using the information to blackmail people.
The investigation team, called the SIT, is looking into who authorized the phone-tapping and how it was done.
They have questioned several former officials and are expected to issue notices to KCR and KTR after the upcoming Assembly session.
The case started after the Hyderabad police received a complaint in 2023.
Sanjay Kumar claims that the investigation has been slow and has not taken any real action to punish the guilty.
He also mentioned that the scandal has damaged the image of a top agency, the Special Intelligence Bureau (SIB), which was used to harass and extort contractors and political leaders under the BRS regime.
He urged the Congress government to speed up the probe and expose those behind the conspiracy.
BJP leader Bandi Sanjay Kumar criticizes the pace of the phone-tapping investigation in Telangana.
Allegations include illegal phone-tapping, corruption, and political blackmail by BRS leaders KCR and KTR.
