Puri Temple Ornaments Return to Original Treasury on September 23
Imagine a very special treasure chest in a temple, where the Lord's precious belongings are kept.
This treasure chest had to be fixed, so the important stuff was moved to a temporary place.
Now, the fixing is done!
So, the temple officials are carefully moving everything back to the real treasure chest on September 23rd.
This will happen early in the morning.
They'll be extra careful, with a special person watching to make sure everything goes smoothly.
After, the chest will be locked, and the key will be kept safe.
The temple is also planning to change how people see the Lord, making it easier to visit.
The valuables and ornaments of the Lord will be shifted back to the Ratna Bhandar.
The shift is scheduled for September 23, 2024, between 7:17 AM and 11:17 AM.
The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has completed repair of the Ratna Bhandar.
Public darshan will be regulated during the shifting process.
A magistrate will be present to oversee the shifting.
