Hyderabad Student Drowns While Taking Selfie at Kongala Waterfalls
An 18-year-old boy from Hyderabad went to Kongala waterfalls with his friends to take selfies.
He slipped and fell into the water while taking a selfie and drowned because he couldn't swim.
His family didn't know he had gone to the waterfalls and found out later when his friend called them.
An 18-year-old B.Sc student from Uppal, Hyderabad, drowned at Kongala waterfalls while taking a selfie.
The incident occurred on Thursday, and the student was identified as K Venkata Naga Sai Murthy.
Murthy had informed his family that he was studying at home but later went to Kongala waterfalls with friends.
He slipped and fell into the waterfall pond while taking selfies and drowned as he couldn't swim.
The police have booked a case under Section 194 of BNSS and are investigating the incident.
