Madhya Pradesh Announces Ekatma Yatra Ahead of Simhastha 2028

Madhya Pradesh plans a large journey called the Ekatma Yatra.

It will take place before Simhastha 2028 and end during that event.

The journey will share India’s spiritual traditions and the idea that different forms of worship can lead to the same highest truth.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced it at a ceremony in Omkareshwar.

At the ceremony, he also began construction of a special Panchayatana temple.

Lord Shiva will be in the middle of the temple, with four other shrines around him.

The temple will use traditional Indian architecture and carved pink sandstone.

The government says Ekatma Dham and nearby Ujjain will become important spiritual centres.
