Shriram Finance Share Price Surges 97% After MUFG Deal
Shriram Finance's share price has gone up a lot, almost doubling from its lowest point in the past year.
This happened because a big Japanese bank, MUFG, decided to invest a huge amount of money in the company.
MUFG is buying a big part of Shriram Finance, which will help Shriram Finance grow and become stronger.
Even though the share price went down a little bit recently, it has been doing really well over the past few months.
Many experts think this is a good thing for Shriram Finance and that the company will keep growing.
They also think the share price could go even higher in the future.
Shriram Finance's share price has surged 97% from its 52-week low of ₹493.60.
MUFG Bank is investing ₹39,620 crore for a 20% stake in Shriram Finance.
The stock reached an all-time high of ₹983.7 but saw a 1.5% intraday decline.
Brokerages have raised price targets, with Nomura setting it at ₹1,140 and ICICI Securities at ₹1,200.
The deal is expected to strengthen Shriram Finance's capital base and enhance its growth prospects.
