Polo Hotels Group Launches Chapter Brand Across Northeast India
Polo Hotels Group has created a new hotel brand called Chapter Hotels & Resorts.
The hotels are meant for people who want travel to feel special and connected to local places.
Each hotel will use nearby food, art, music and stories in its design.
The first hotel will be Chapter Lakeside in Tripura.
It will sit beside Rudrasagar Lake and have 17 rooms.
Guests will be able to use a pool, eat local food and travel by boat.
Another hotel is planned for Upper Shillong in Meghalaya.
The company says the hotels will bring more attention and jobs to Northeast India.
The brand wants each stay to feel like a new chapter in a traveller’s story.
Polo Hotels Group has launched Chapter Hotels & Resorts, an upscale boutique brand focused on local experiences and contemporary design.
The brand’s first property, the 17-key Chapter Lakeside, will open later this year beside Rudrasagar Lake in Tripura.
Chapter Lakeside will feature a lake-view pool, poolside bar, all-day dining and boat transfers, with cuisine inspired by Tripura’s Kokborok and Mui Borok traditions.
The second planned property is Chapter Resort Upper Shillong, a 37-key resort set among paddy fields in Meghalaya.
The group’s pipeline includes properties in West Bengal, Nagaland and other Northeast locations using owned, managed and retrofit models.
