Sheikh Hasina's Son Accuses Yunus of Rigging Elections
Sajeeb Wazed, son of the former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, says that Muhammad Yunus, the chief advisor of the interim government, is trying to manipulate the caretaker government system to rig the upcoming elections in favor of the current interim administration.
He accuses them of using force against Awami League supporters and detaining thousands of their leaders and MPs.
The Supreme Court has restored the caretaker government system, but only for future elections, not the upcoming one.
This means the Awami League, currently barred from politics, cannot participate in the elections.
