KVS Announces 987 Special Educator Vacancies for 2026

The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has announced that they will be hiring 987 special educators for the year 2026.

These jobs are for two types of teachers: TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) and PRT (Primary Teacher).

There are 493 TGT and 494 PRT positions available.

To apply for a PRT job, you need to have completed 12th grade with at least 50% marks and have a two-year diploma in special education.

For a TGT job, you need a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks, a one-year diploma in special education, and a B.Ed.

in Special Education or a general B.Ed.

Both types of teachers need to pass the CBSE CTET exam.

The selection process includes a computer-based test and a professional competence test.

The age limit for TGT positions is 35 years, and for PRT positions, it is 30 years.
