Judicial Panel Submits Roadmap for Modernising India’s Courts

A group working on improving courts has given its first report to India’s top judge.

The group is called the Judicial Infrastructure Advisory Committee.

Justice Aravind Kumar leads it.

Chief Justice of India Surya Kant created the committee on May 12.

The committee’s report suggests ways to modernise courts across the country.

It focuses on better court infrastructure and services.

The report also refers to citizen-centric services and e-Courts.

It was submitted on Monday, almost four months after the committee began its work.
