Bengaluru Trust Offers Hope and Education to Vulnerable Children
Imagine some kids in Bengaluru don't get to go to school because their parents have to work all day to earn money.
Sometimes, older kids have to stay home to help take care of the younger ones instead of going to school themselves.
A kind man named Nagarajaiah started a special place called Pragathi Charitable Trust to help these children.
They have three little schools where kids can learn to read, write, and play.
After a year of learning and playing, these schools help the children get into regular government schools.
This way, they get a better chance to have a good future, just like other kids.
But these special schools need help from people who care to keep running, so all children can have the chance to learn and dream big.
Pragathi Charitable Trust runs three learning centers in Bengaluru for children from migrant communities.
The centers provide basic education, meals, and a nurturing environment for children who are school dropouts, child laborers, or rag-pickers.
After one year of training, the trust facilitates the children's admission into nearby government schools.
The initiative aims to break the cycle of poverty and neglect by providing access to formal education.
The trust relies solely on public donations to fund its operations, with a monthly cost of Rs. 27,700 per learning center.
