Snake Found at Indore Hospital Amid Earlier Vermin Concerns

A snake was found inside a government hospital in Indore.

It was seen near a window in the area where outpatients are treated.

A female security guard safely removed it.

Hospital officials said the snake was not poisonous and did not hurt anyone.

They said construction and tree-cutting nearby may have helped it enter the building.

The hospital had also previously seen a cat inside the OPD.

The contractor responsible for cleanliness was fined after that incident.

In 2025, two babies died after rat attacks were reported in the ICU.

Hospital officials disagreed with the claim that rat bites caused the deaths, saying the babies had other serious health problems.
