FIFA Introduces World Cup Champion Rings

FIFA Introduces World Cup Champion Rings

FIFA has introduced a new tradition with World Cup Champion Rings.

After Spain won the 2026 World Cup, FIFA President Gianni Infantino gave the team temporary rings in the dressing room.

These rings are made of 18-karat gold with diamonds and sapphires.

They have the World Cup Trophy on one side and Spain's details on the other.

Only 2,026 rings were made, with 30 for the team and the rest for sale at $12,000 each.

This new tradition is inspired by American sports like the NFL and NBA, where championship rings are given to winners.

Some people like the new idea, while others prefer the traditional medals and trophy.
