New York Jets Cornerback Kris Boyd Shot, Condition Improved
New York Jets football player Kris Boyd was shot early Sunday morning in New York City.
The 29-year-old cornerback was outside a restaurant when he got into a fight and was shot twice in his stomach.
Initially, he was reported to be in critical condition at the hospital.
However, a friend who played with him in college later said that Kris is now doing much better and is in good condition.
Two cars were seen speeding away from the area after the shooting.
Kris Boyd has played for several NFL teams since starting his career in 2019 and joined the Jets this year but has been sidelined with an injury.

The incident occurred around 2:00 AM ET outside the Sei Less restaurant in Midtown Manhattan.
Boyd was reportedly involved in a fight at the time of the shooting.
He was initially reported in critical condition but a friend later stated he is now in good condition.
Two cars were seen speeding away from the scene; no arrests have been made.
