Uttar Pradesh Flood-Affected Districts Fall to 14, CM Says
Uttar Pradesh is experiencing flooding in some areas.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said 14 districts currently have some waterlogging.
He said many more districts were affected by floods about ten years ago.
The government is giving affected families relief supplies.
These supplies include milk, hot food and dry rations.
Adityanath said such help was not available in the same way before 2017.
He credited recent measures with improving flood control.
He also said district officials, elected representatives and BJP workers were helping with relief efforts.
