Delhi School Leaders Assigned Electoral Roll Revision Duties
Delhi is checking and updating its voter lists.
This process is called a Special Intensive Revision, or SIR.
People can submit claims if they think something in the list is wrong.
They can also file objections about entries.
The Chief Electoral Officer’s office has assigned some school and college staff to help.
Principals, vice-principals and assistant professors will serve as election officers.
They will work in all 13 districts of Delhi.
Their election-related work will happen after teaching hours.

School principals, vice-principals and assistant professors will be appointed as Assistant Electoral Registration Officers.
The appointments will cover all 13 districts of the capital.
The officers will handle claims and objections during the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls.
