Deputy CM Sunetra Pawar Skips Revati Sule's Delhi Reception

Have you ever been invited to a party but could not go because you were busy?

That is what happened to Sunetra Pawar, one of the top leaders of the Indian state of Maharashtra.

A big party was held in New Delhi to celebrate the wedding of Revati Sule, the daughter of a famous politician named Supriya Sule.

Many important leaders came to this party.

But Sunetra Pawar did not attend, even though this was a big Pawar family celebration.

Her helper explained that she already had other plans that day and could not travel to New Delhi.

Her two sons went to the party instead.

This was the second big event she missed in less than a week.

Earlier, she had missed an event in Mumbai where Union Home Minister Amit Shah was present.

She had, however, gone to Revati's wedding in Mumbai and to another party in Pune before that.
