Mutt Demolished in Raibag Following Seer's Arrest
Imagine a temple building called the Ram Mandir Mutt.
The leader of the temple was arrested for a serious crime.
Because the temple was built on land that it wasn't supposed to be on and without permission, the local government decided to tear it down.
Before the demolition, angry villagers, upset by the leader's arrest, had already damaged the temple.
The government said they were just following the rules about the land and that's why they took the building down.
They also mentioned some local leaders might have helped the temple get built, even though it wasn't legal.
Raibag taluk administration demolished the Ram Mandir Mutt in Mekhali village.
The demolition followed the arrest of seer Lokeshwar Swami under the Pocso Act.
The mutt was reportedly built on eight acres of encroached gram panchayat land.
Authorities stated the mutt was constructed without proper permissions and in violation of land regulations.
Local villagers had previously vandalized the mutt after the seer's arrest.
