Each of the five winners, including Akhil Chandran RP and Sarath Sasidharan from Kerala and Arifuzzaman Shuvo and Sabuj Md Delowar Munshi from Bangladesh, received an equal share of 100,000 Dirhams.
Saidalavi regularly pooled money with friends every month for the past four years to buy Big Ticket raffle tickets.
He plans to send his winnings to support his family in India and has already bought a ticket for the next raffle, saying: 'Keep hoping! Your day will come.'
