East Delhi Expressway Gets Three New Foot Over Bridges

East Delhi Expressway Gets Three New Foot Over Bridges

The government is building three foot over bridges in East Delhi.

These bridges will help people cross the busy Delhi-Saharanpur-Dehradun Expressway more safely.

Two bridges are being built at Geeta Colony/Gandhi Nagar and Ramesh Park in Laxmi Nagar.

A third bridge has been approved near Bhajanpura and Garhi Mendu.

The bridges will have lifts to help older people, students, workers and people with mobility challenges.

They are expected to keep pedestrians away from moving vehicles.

Parking spaces and public facilities are also being planned below the elevated road.

Solar panels will be installed to support energy needs along the expressway.

The three bridges are expected to cost Rs 12.8 crore altogether.
