SCP Developers' Lifetime Darshan Claim Debunked by TTD
A real‑estate company called SCP Developers said that if you buy a house near the city of Tirupati, you would get a special, lifetime visit to the famous Tirumala temple.
Many people thought this was true.
The temple’s own group, called Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, said they never made such a promise and that only they can give temple tickets.
They also said the company was lying and could be punished by the police.
The company took down its ads, but the temple said that does not stop the problem.
Devotees are told to use only the temple’s official website for real information about visits.
The temple has started a legal case against the company for the false advertising.
SCP Developers advertised residential plots near Tirupati claiming lifetime VIP darshan at Tirumala temple.
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) denied any association and said only the trust can issue darshan tickets.
TTD filed a police complaint against SCP Developers for misleading advertising.
The company removed promotional content but TTD said removal does not absolve responsibility.
Devotees are advised to rely on TTD’s official channels and not trust property‑linked darshan offers.
