AICC Appoints Shankaraiah as TPCC OBC Chief

The Congress party has appointed K Shankaraiah, who is an MLA from Shadnagar, as the new chairman of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee's OBC Department.

This decision was made by the party's high command, led by AICC Chief Mallikarjun Kharge.

Along with Shankaraiah, two other people, Kethoori Venkatesh and Juluru Dhanalaxmi, were appointed as conveners to help with the department's work.

The appointments were announced on a Tuesday night through an official note.

This move is part of the party's efforts to make the OBC wing stronger and to better organize activities in different regions of Telangana.
